Square du Roule - 6yro b.g. Rated 100 on hurdle form

POST RACE, Wincanton 1st April 2026, WINNER, won again, patiently ridden by Harry Cobden and led over the last and scooted clear, and a nice gamble landed, from 9/1 to 100/30. Upped 6lb for his win so now rated 95.

WON again at Exeter 17th April ridden by Bryan Carver won with a bit in hand and a great result. NOW a 3 time winner. New rating up 5lb to his new rating of 100.

Square is now having a short break after his amazing form last season, he will be back at the end of June to resume his training.

Update post race, Hereford - he ran very very green and didn't know what to do bless him, the ground was very tacky and dead on the back straight, and the jockey said he blew up just before the last bend, but will improve for that run as it was an educational run for him, so we move onto a flat track with good ground which he is bred for, but all in all pleased with his run. Thunderous has had a wind op and is now having a very short break to recover, he will be back in training at the end of June and will strip a lot better for his op and will sure to improve next season.

Bobacious - 6yro b.g. Rated 66 on the flat

Post race - Lingfield 18th May, ran a great race on his return after his break to finish 3rd only beaten a length, will improve for that run and next race will be at Lingfield on Saturday the 6th June, this is an evening meeting, few shares have just been released, click on his page on the homepage for more details.

Now declared at Lingfield on Saturday 6th June, (evening meeting).

Post race, he ran a good race considering the ground was soft to heavy, only ran out of puff in the last 100yds, jockey said he tried his heart out but the ground wasn't to his liking but stayed on to finish a respectable 4th. We move on to Epsom on the 1st July where he won the race last year.

OPEN DAY at Nigel Hawke's racing complex in Stoodleigh, Tiverton, Devon - Confirmed date is Sunday 12th July 2026, friends and families all very welcome, we will be doing a free food and drinks etc from around midday onwards, view all the horses in the stable complex and Nigel will show you all the gallops etc and this will give you how a racing stables operates and this will be a great day out for all.
